Grant Harvey Linderman, 70, a beloved
father and the husband of Docia Ann Linderman, went home to be with the
Lord, Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Linderman was born the son
Harry Linderman and Viola Holmes Linderman on December 10, 1942.
He was a retired employee of International Paper Co. He was a United
States Veteran serving in the Navy, Army and National Guard; and was a
member of the Rhems Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Grant and Ann were married on
December 22, 1962 and celebrated 50 years together. From there blessed
union were born: five children, Anita Watts, Grant “Sonny” Linderman
Jr., Jeff (Regina) Linderman, Clinton Linderman, and Tiffany Linderman;
seven grandchildren, Alice, Matthew, Travis, Ryan, Kayla, Bridget, and
Dakota; and four great grandchildren. He also leaves behind two sisters,
Beverly Valencia and Elaine Richie.
He was predeceased by: his parents;
three children, Grant “Sonny”, Anita, and Clinton.
A Going Home Celebration with
Military Honors will be 11 Am, Monday, June 24, 2013 at Rhems Pentecostal
Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery directed
by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Sunday
evening, June 23, 2013, in the Rhems PHC sanctuary.
